Automatic self-adjusting deck plates: in normal corn heads, deck plates opening is manually regulated, an inaccurate system that results in the loss of much product.
Instead, the deck plates opening of Drago 2 is automatic and continuously adapts to the different sizes of the corn stalks.
The automatism works independently on each row. The operator does not have to make any adjustment.

LONGER STALK ROLLERS
Stalk perfectly pressed
ADVANTAGES: gentle separation of the ears, no losses of kernels.
The stalk rollers are longer compared to the normal corn heads’ ones: the lower peripheral speed causes a gentler separation of the ear from the plant.
The stalk is perfectly pressed, harvesting is complete without losses.

Low profile construction.
The exclusive low-profile construction and the efficient work of the lateral augers determine a safe penetration of the down corn allowing for a total harvest of low-lying and hanging corns.
Lower working angle.
In working position, the inclination of the row-group with respect to the ground has a lower angle than most corn heads have: thanks to this special feature harvesting all down corn is not a problem anymore.
Besides, the low inclination of the row-group avoids the ears to bounce out of the machine.

Upon request, Drago2 can be equipped with a built-in stalk chopper with rotary blades. With very low power consumption, the stalk chopper crushes the corn stalks leaving the field ready for plowing.

The reinforced steel gathering chains with hard chrome pins are self-adjusted by a spin that absorbs all mechanical stress.
Knife stalk rollers
The interchangeable blades are made of tungsten carbide.
Weed knives
They prevent weed wrapping on the whole length.
